The Bank of America Chicago Marathon takes place each year all throughout the Chicago neighborhoods and ends in the heart of downtown at Grant Park. Each year the number of participates grow, this year the marathon had approximately over 43,000 runners from over 100 different countries. This year the marathon took place on the gorgeous, 75 degree, sunny day of Sunday October 8, 2017.
One amazing aspect of the Chicago Marathon, is the crowd of specters and supporters it attracts. From family and friends of runners, nonprofit groups, students doing service, and even health and fitness companies; the Chicago Marathon brings people together. It is truly amazing to see people stand up for a cause, encourage one another, and accomplish their goals by finishing the 26.2-mile race.

luluemon employees dressed in all white from all over the Chicago-land area gathered early Sunday morning to create a power, fun, and exciting environment for the runners to pass through during their final push. With a DJ playing pump up music, comedic signs held up, and jumping bodies shouting inspiring words, the lululemon cheer station at mile 22 made a positive impact on the passing runners.
